When We're Open

 

The open air site, where remains of the Bath house and Mansio are located, can be accessed by visitors daily.

Our Museum remains closed but preparations are being made to re-open it to visitors in accordance with Government guidelines and the outlined roadmap (Step 4, 17th June). 

We hope to post dates of opening very shortly, but please be aware that these may change with immediate effect due to Government guidance.

We ask that you respect visitors to Wall and Letocetum through social distancing and other considerations. Thank you.

How to find us

 

Travelling by car-

From A5 East: At island junction with A461 (Muckley Corner Island) take exit signposted Tamworth and continue on A5 until signpost for Wall Village. Turn off A5 at Wall bypass. Car park is first turning on left.

From A5 West: At island junction with A5127 and A5148 (Wall Island) take exit signed Cannock and continue along A5 until Muckley Corner Island. Follow A5 East instructions to reach Wall.

 

Travelling by bus-

Select Bus Service 36 (Lichfield to Aldridge): Get off at stop directly by our car park. Alternatively, use stop at crossroads of Watling Street and Ashcroft Lane. This stop is 5 minutes away from museum entrance.

National Express X3 (Birmingham to Lichfield): Get off at stop on Birmingham Road (A5127) by junction with Watling Street. This stop is a 20 minute walk from museum entrance.
